Journal entry by Debbie Correa

Hey everybody,
It's been a long time since I've checked in with most of you. I hope you are all keeping healthy and virus free. I have some exciting news!! Tomorrow is my LAST round of Chemotherapy! OH it's been a long time coming. If you are feeling stir crazy with sheltering in place, I have to say I completely understand. I feel like I've been sheltering in place since last November!!
Round 6 is tomorrow morning. It was supposed to be last week but my white blood count was too low, so my Dr. wanted me to wait a week. I just wanted you to know that I'm doing great. I had a few hiccups with my teeth- apparently chemotherapy can sometimes manifest in your mouth and I've had a couple of tooth infections that led to one tooth extraction and another root canal but otherwise I've been doing very well.
Thank you for all your prayers! I am SO excited to be DONE! I am excited to move on with my life and for my hair to grow back. I'm excited for my energy to return, excited to work out again etc. SO MANY little things to be grateful for. God has been SO GOOD! God bless you and reach out to me when you can. I can't wait to be able to hug you again! Much love, Debbie
