Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

In 2018, I struggled with flu like symptoms several times by the end of May. When they recurred again in June, we became concerned that it may be more and went to the ER.  A chest X-ray confirmed a mass on my left lung.  A CT scan clarified it to be 2.  One large mass approx the size of a baseball.  The other was smaller, however is wrapped around my pulmonary artery.  That caused the shortness of breath and pains.  My sodium levels were too low, which was giving me nausea, vomiting I was then admitted to get things under control.  There was a brain MRI while in the hospital, no masses are there.  The PET scan shows it to be limited with one questionable  spot on my left clavicle.

The plan is to hit it with radiation plus chemo.  First a port gets put in, then chemo starts the same day.
