Davis’s Story

Site created on April 14, 2018

In November 2017, William Davis O'Donnell joined his two loving parents Lianne and Doug and big sister Evelyn to make a happy family of four.

In documenting all of his big smiles, his mother noticed something different in his eyes.  After a call to his pediatrician, Davis O'Donnell was immediately diagnosed with Retinoblastoma, a disease in which malignant cancer cells form in the tissues of the retina.  At only 5 months old, Davis' treatment will be immediate and the next days and weeks trying.  There is some hope with the family as there is a group in the Houston area that specializes in this particular treatment.

This site is here to provide friends and family an outlet to show support to Davis and his family in this difficult time.  As the family begins this difficult journey through aggressive treatments, it is our hope to help support them through these trying times whether it be with our prayers and/or donations

Journal entry by Lianne ODonnell

Our sweet Davis had his exam today and we are sad to say he has a new tumor. We are obviously upset to hear this news but thankful we caught it early and he was able to receive treatment today. We are so thankful for the few months he remained cancer free and I know we will celebrate that victory again. Keep our little fighter in your prayers. This kid is tough, our God is big and He is good, all the time.
