My sincere condolences to David's family. So glad the Duty Free/Travel Retail industry had a chance to see him once more at the trade show in April. David will be missed. Rest in peace, my friend.

David and I were boxing weekend 'warriors.' He wore boxing gloves that were so oversized they looked like circus clown gloves. Truth be told, he tapped more than punched. He didn't want to hurt or be hurt. He was always genial. He will be missed.

My love and support go out to Dave's family and to Suzanne, all of those who have known and loved him. He sure is feisty as ever. I thought most kindly of his friendship and fellowship with my brother Jim. His illness has taken away a great deal of joy.
