Welcome to David’s CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. 

David has been experiencing long-haul Covid symptoms for the past several months. He was rushed home early from a trip in Mexico mid-February and has been in and out of the hospital since. As of yesterday he was transferred to the U of M in Minneapolis recovering from cardiac arrest and preparing for open-heart surgery to fix a leaky heart valve. Thank you for your prayers, good vibes and well wishes.

Good evening
April 27 Thurs
I apologize for not keeping up on David's journey, some days posting was too much for me, it made it reality and have just couldn't take it.
David continues to have up and downs.  He has had two really awesome days now.  Today we sat in the downstairs lobby by the fireplace and had a little lunch and coffee.  Saw the turkeys free ranging out front.
He had an MRI this evening, so should know more on that tomorrow.
We both thank y'all for all  the wonderful Birthday and  wishes!!  We are so grateful for each and everyone you!
