A brief and joyous Celebration of Life will be held for David on Saturday, October 19, 2019, at 3:00 p.m. in the Morse Commons of the University of Oregon School of Law, with overflow seating available and a livestream broadcast for those who cannot attend. There will be a reception after the service with many of David's favorite foods and beverages on offer. Below I've included some information about parking at UO Law. We hope you will honor us and my father with your presence, and thank you for your continued support and love during this time. My father would be so happy to see us taken care of. -- Rebecca

Parking near the University of Oregon Knight Law Center, 1515 Agate Street:

  • On the weekend, parking in the staff/faculty lots is available to visitors on a first-come, first-serve basis at spots that are not reserved for specific parking permits at all times. Those that are reserved list a parking permit number on a sign at the front of each parking spot.
  • There are several parking lots close to the Knight Law Center. The closest lot, Lot 43, is adjacent to the south entrance of Oregon Law and can be accessed via a narrow road off of 17th that runs behind the Fire Station on the corner of Agate and 17th.  Note that lot 38 is currently closed due to construction.
  • Attached is a printable PDF map of the parking options on campus.  An interactive map is also available online:  https://map.uoregon.edu/
  • Street parking that is both metered (2-hour and 10-hour) and at no-pay, 2-hour spots is available near the Knight Law Center on a first-come, first-served. The meters are credit card/debit card operated until 6:00 pm.
  • Parking is also available in the Columbia Garage, located below the Ford Alumni Center, accessible from East 13th Avenue.
  • We also recommend the Lane Transit District website for Eugene EmX and bus schedules.
  • There is a bank of PeaceHealth Rides (bike share) conveniently at the front entrance of the Knight Law Center.
