Latest update on Dave: 

Hello everyone! 

First, Dave and his family / friends are eternally grateful for all the love and support from this community of people. It is so amazing to witness the power of prayer and optimism. 

 

This week came with not the greatest news since this all started. Although the drs are handling his prognosis with the utmost care and with state of the art medicine, the cancer is not responding to the treatments as we hoped it would. 

 

There is no definitive answer when it comes to this disease, but at first glance the cancer is proving to be relentless. However, the Drs remain optimistic and they are working on next steps for the right treatments in hopes to tackle the cancer. Dave is eating more, gaining weight and physically improving which is a good sign. He will see the Dr again in a few weeks while they figure out next steps in the background. 

 

Dave, being the fighter he is, will not stand down and will continue to forge through. With the focus really needing to be on next steps, Genna is going to take some time off work so she can attend all the drs visits, enjoy some quality time with Dave since he is feeling better and figure out all the right care / treatments for him. 

 

With this, will come many challenging days, financial constraints and stress, but all in service of happiness and getting Dave the best care he possibly can to continue this battle. 

 

I’m hoping this community can continue to invest in our friends / family and their futures. All prayers, healing vibes and contributions continue to be appreciated.
