A little up date on Dave! We have had a few calls and messages checking in! Thank you! We usually don’t have much new news good or bad, not sure! We were suppose to meet Dave’s surgeon, June 8th for a follow up after radiation, unfortunately he had to take a 4 month leave of absence from work! Last Thursday,Dave had his first MRI since radiation and today we met with Dave’s surgeon! 

Back up a few months! Dave wrapped up radiation April 12th. 🙌 when we got home from radiation, Dave continued to work hard with PT, OT, and speech therapies. The end of May Dave graduated from all of his therapies. We have waited patiently through summer for Dr Mendez to get back to work! We got the call the end of August to make the follow up! We were thrilled to hear Dr Mendez was back! We got the results back right away from the MRI, not always easy to read but we thought it looked ok! 

Today Dr Mendez confirmed radiation did exactly what we needed it to do! Thanks for all of our prayer warrior! It’s been a tough 9 months. The waiting game is never easy! We were reminded Dave is one very blessed man!! He went to the hospital December 11th in tough shape!  Doctors were unsure if Dave would ever walk again or use his right side of his body! Today looking at Dave he looks 100%!  With that being said he isn’t! Dave has a long road of healing and recovery!
