David’s Story

Site created on December 26, 2021

David has been battling severe sickness with COVID pneumonia this month of December. We did what we could to take care of him at home, but on Wednesday, December 22, we had to take him into St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac for more advanced care. Since then, his disease has been causing blood sugar spikes, difficulty breathing, and pure exhaustion. We are praying for a medical miracle from God to turn him around physically, but we are also putting our faith in God's promises and His control over everything. Thank you everyone for your continued prayers and support, and we will plan to keep you updated.

Journal entry by Nadine Krahn

Almost 2 months from his hospital admission. Dave decided that Valentine’s Day was the day he was strong enough to go back to work as a dairy veterinarian for his new practice, Liberty Hill Dairy Service!  He’s got one week under his belt and so far it’s gone well. There were some nerves initially, but they evaporated when he was overwhelmed by the outpouring of support he experienced from the farmers and herdsmen at his return. The miraculous healing that God began in the hospital has continued at an incredible pace. On our newly printed Liberty Hill business cards we put the Bible verse, “where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty,” to honor God who truly has given us a second chance at life, and an abundant life at that! We want to sincerely thank all the veterinarians who covered his herds while he was out of commission, all the farmers who were patient and loyal to welcome him back, all of the friends and family who have supported us during his illness, recovery and business transition, and everyone who lifted up Dave and our family in prayer at our most desperate time. You were all a part of this story that God wanted me to write. ❤️🙏
