Hey All,
Well, we had a lot of medical appointments the past 6 days. Dave is recovering great from his drain surgery.
That being said, chemo was stopped and it wasn't sounding good on that front---his tumors continued to grow.
We met with his oncologist this morning, who for the record is amazingly supportive and honoring Dave's request to stay in the fight. So we are done with that type of chemo/ nuclear meds/ and immunotherapy.
If that were the update we wouldn't be sharing it at the moment. But, his Dr is going to try the 2nd best chemo option to see if Dave's body will respond to that kind since it did not to the" best kind."
There won't be immunotherapy or nuclear meds. Just good old fashoned lose all your hair and fight with all you have left type of chemo. If that fails--- then we try the 3rd best option. Dave wants to keep in this fight. So we fight more.
Keep praying! He gets a break until the 20th when we start the process all over again and praying this time the tumors start to shrink---not grow! Thanks for staying in the fight with us!
We love you all!
Dave and Tanya
