Hi Everyone-

Once again, thank you for all of your continued love and support. Things have changed quite a bit since the last time we posted. Two weeks ago, after some considerable decline, we decided to forego chemo and radiation. At this point, his care needs are more than we can safely provide at home and he has been moved to Pilgrim Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Peabody. Because of his short term memory loss, he often struggles with knowing where he is and what is going on. As a family we have decided to maintain the story that he is at rehab to "get better and stronger" and not continually remind him of his condition. If you would like to be in touch with him, we ask that you honor this and not mention his diagnosis going forward. 

Please feel free to continue sending cards, well-wishes, etc. and we will bring them to him. For those who have been asking if they could see him, with COVID visitation is very limited. We are hopeful that visitation restrictions may become more lenient, but we really don't know. If you feel strongly that you would like to see him, let me know and we will try to reach out when a space becomes available.
