Newest Update

Journal entry by Beth Cobos

It’s been far too long since we’ve updated. Sorry about that.

David had his post op this week. Doctor was impressed!! He’s healing beautifully!

Still not able to pick up Henry or do anything crazy but he is able to drive and do walks around the neighborhood. That is his favorite thing to do right now, he also enjoys checking the mail multiple times a day.

He has been well fed with all of our meals and gift cards. He is sleeping so much better after being off the steroids. The craziest side effect he got has been such bad acne with the steroid. And maybe not being able to poop easily. Now his skins looking better and he’s back to his normal poop schedule ha. You’re welcome.

He started working from home this week and is working part time (but really more than part time). He is enjoying some extra family time and been picking up Charlie from school on his school days. I’m not sure who likes it more, Charlie or dad!!

He will be set up with PT in a bit to start talking about his come back! He’s excited to get back to running (3ish months after surgery) but for now he’s trying to not get too antsy and take it easy.

Thank you everyone, for everything.
