David’s Story

Site created on July 31, 2018

On June 24th, David was diagnosed with advanced liver cancer.  Though we thought he would have more time and some treatment options, he is rapidly declining. He has been in and out of the hospital for the last month, and when he gets out he will transition to hospice. As most of you know, David is a rather introverted guy, so thank you for respecting his need for privacy during this time. He really doesn't want visitors. Like every party/event, he is "ghosting out" early, but wants you to know that he loves you all.

Please check back here for occasional updates on David's status.  We have a lot to deal with right now and directly communicating with everyone individually might not be possible.  Many of you have asked how you can help; watch this space for opportunities to assist us.

What a wonderful, caring group of friends you are; in the midst of this tragedy, David and I feel very lucky to have you.

Unless you're from some government agency, then I didn't do that at all...
