On behalf of Martha, Gillian, Hannah and all the Brackins and Waters, I want to thank all of you for your comments of kind words, love and support, all the cards and flowers sent to Martha and the girls, your attendance at visitation or the funeral if you were able to go, and for all the delicious food you dropped by the house. In the South, love equates food - and in Texas love equates barbecue! A special thanks to all the ladies at Walnut Street Missionary Baptist Church who prepared the feast for the family. It was all delicious.

Most of all, thank you for your prayers. They were a constant and sustaining source of strength and comfort throughout this whole ordeal.

Please continue to keep David’s family in your thoughts and prayers in the coming weeks as they adjust to life without him. Drop a note, send a text or pick up the phone to check on them when you have a chance. They will continue to need our love and friendship.
