To the #welovedave Friends and Family,

We know the past 24 hours have been incredibly difficult for everyone.  In lieu of a traditional viewing and funeral service, we will be holding a Celebration of Life event to allow everyone to come together to honor David’s life and to share their favorite David Hartley stories and memories with his family and friends.

The Celebration of Life will be held at Ritz Charles from 6:00-9:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 27th.  Ritz Charles is located at 12156 N. Meridian Street in Carmel, Indiana.  Heavy appetizers and drinks will be served.  Kids are welcome to attend.  There will be a special kid activity zone setup next to the main event room. 

For the celebration, we would appreciate receiving everyone’s favorite David Hartley pictures, quotes and sayings.  We would also like to receive a brief description of your favorite “Best ever” moment when David invariably commented on the “Best ever” food, drink, experience, etc. that he has ever had.  David’s sense of humor was infectious and we know that “Best ever” will live on with each and every single one of you.  Please email photos, quotations and “Best ever” moment descriptions to welovedave@nntg.com by Wednesday morning.  We will create a slide show that will be projected on screens during the Celebration of Life event.  There will also be an opportunity for some of David’s friends and family members to share their favorite stories about David starting around 7pm during a reflection on David’s life.

In lieu of flowers or other gifts, David’s family requests that you consider making a tax-deductible donation to Spirits for Smile (https://spiritsforsmiles.com/).  David founded this charity and was actively involved in supporting its mission to provide dental care to low income families. 

We look forward to gathering together with you at 6pm on Saturday at Ritz Charles to celebrate David’s amazing life.
