Thank you for visiting Dave's page, we are so very grateful.  As many of you know, Dave's family has a genetic condition that causes gastrointestinal cancer.  Dave has been bravely fighting his third round of cancer since January of 2020.  Dave has been a colon cancer survivor since 2007, and a neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer survivor since April of 2016.  Microscopic cancer cells from his last round of cancer have taken 4 years to form two tumors in his liver, and a large tumor just outside of his pancreas that is wrapped around his Superior Mesenteric Artery and Vein which makes it inoperable.  After 14 months of countless doctor consults, tests, scans and labs, we just learned that Dave is a candidate for liver surgery and the state-of-the art Nano Knife technology.  His incredibly talented Surgical Oncologist, Dr. Eric Liu, with Rocky Mountain Cancer Center's Neuroendocrine Center, is one of the top Neuroendocrine Specialists in the world...and we are incredibly blessed that he is here in Denver.  Dave's intense surgery and procedure is today, March 31st.   The biggest challenges for the Nano Knife procedure is the large amount of scar tissue from Dave's pancreatic surgery which makes reaching the tumor incredibly challenging, and the mass being around the artery.    I will be posting daily updates as information comes in.   God Bless you for your love, prayers and support...we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

This is my first post since Super Dave passed away 5 weeks ago today.  There are not enough words to express my gratitude for the absolutely incredible outpouring of love and support that I am experiencing during this most difficult season of my life, I am forever grateful.

Dave's memorial service and celebration of life will be on Friday, August 13th.  Below is the invitation link:
