Dave’s Story

Dave was diagnosed with Diabetic Chronic Kidney Disease, (CKD), in Spring of 2022. His kidney function was maintaining a steady level with treatment, until June of 2023. Shortly after that, it became necessary to begin home, peritoneal dialysis and start looking for a living kidney donor. Dave is also following the process to be approved to be placed on the kidney transplant list. This process is thorough and challenging, while also adjusting to new limitations in life due to the illness and it's complications.
Dave could not fight this disease without the love, prayers, and support of family and friends. His faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ, is where he gets his strength and hope to carry on. Thank you for letting us share this journey with you.

Dave's stent placement went great! He was in and out quickly and they're going to send him home tomorrow! Finally! Thanks for hanging with us in prayers and encouragement! He's going to have quite some follow-up before we're back on track for the transplant. We'll keep everyone updated as we go. God bless!
