Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

After a month of vision problems including 2 weeks in Germany, a visit with the new primary care doctor Dr Gladney immediately started investigation. Sent directly to an ophthalmologist, he sent me directly to MRI scan on a STAT basis. 2 hours later a call from Dr Gladney confirmed our fears. There were masses on the brain affecting the optic nerve and I was sent directly to the ER to be admitted for Emergency biopsy surgery. After a long day and evening of waiting I went into surgery at 11 pm and 2 hours later it was successfully finished and was discharged that afternoon, all of this happening in a 48 hour period. Diagnosis is CNS (Central Nervous System) Lymphoma, and there will be more treatment coming up. Watch for updates.

Thank you you all for the warm and thoughtful comments.  A visitation and funeral is planned for December 8/9 in Nebraska, details to follow.  Celebration of Life plans in the Denver area are pending, looking at the second weekend of January.   Definite times and details will be posted here and on Facebook.
