Journal entry by Jennifer Marcotte —
Well, we just hugged Dave goodbye. He’s officially on his way to ref his first D1 hockey game of the year. We are so thankful that he has been given another season on the ice doing what he loves!
Its been 9 weeks since his cardiac arrest. Life is getting back to normal. Dave has worked really hard at cardiac rehab to physically get back in shape so he’s ready to skate and has been reffing youth games here and there. He is working full time and will travel for work in a couple of weeks for his first out of town event in Washington DC. He is still taking time during the day to rest and staying in contact with his cardiologist for any questions he/we may have.
We are reminded everyday just how lucky he is here with us. He is a miracle!
We are asking for prayers for health and safety as Dave starts another hockey season. Thank you. ❤️
-Jennifer
