Journal entry by Teri Lebedeff

Hi everyone- I apologize for not reaching out to you all more - the memorial for Dave was amazing! So many family and friends showed up Feb 1st,  in the pouring rain, to say their final goodbyes to an amazing man. I felt so overwhelmed by the show of love!
The celebration of life couldn’t have been any better either! So many people stepping up to talk about Dave - I’m so blessed that I had 36 years with him.

Walt and Nina Crittle - you did an amazing job on the food!! We all loved it! Monica and Gina - the flowers were beautiful!!! Thanks to all the friends that helped set up and take down - you are appreciated 💕
A huge thank you to all my out of town friends that made the trip for Dave’s farewell … or to support me. I felt the love.
I went down to take some flowers and talk to him last Friday and was so surprised to see the headstone already placed - they told me to expect 60 days for that to happen. Seeing that headstone brought a whole new wave of reality to it - I sat there and cried for 15 minutes not wanting it to be so permanent.
Damn … this is hard!
Well, then I realized they spelled Grandpa wrong on the headstone, but they’re going to fix that.
Thanks again everyone for the well wishes and if you were able to be at the service! I am grateful 💕🩷 Dave was definitely looking down and smiling! It was a hell of a party!
