Journal entry by Ronda Clark

Today is Dan Jilka's Memorial at Royal Oak Life Care Community at 2:30 p.m.. Of course, because of CoronaVirus, it will be a Virtual Remembrance allowing people to call in and share a memory. Sun Jo the Music Director of Tremble Clefs, Jim Groves, Judy Schneider will be among some of the people who will call in but others are invited to call as well. I will list the numbers in the next communication.

I walked for nearly an hour this morning thinking of what memory I could share. So many in 43 years where to begin. But here would be some of Dan's favorites; golf games from 4 p.m. till dark on Sun City Country Club, Management Recruiters trip to Australia and New Zealand, watching his grandson's  baseball and football games, his granddaughter play masterful golf, his grandsons graduation concert,
Many wonderful years shared with friends and associates at MRISeattle and TekSci, travel and adventure throughout the world, buying and selling houses, celebrating family births, deaths, holidays, The Cabin,
The Casita, The Big House,  The Apartment, moving to Royal Oaks, The Bridge Boys around Jim's table, The Friends made with and without Bridge, Tremble Clefs Parkinson Music Group and more friends who became family. There is a Legacy Fund now for West Side Tremble Clef in Dan's name and others who may want to donate to the future of this group that made such a difference with his Parkinson's Disease
battle.

Thank you for all that you have shared with us on these Caring Bridge Pages. As well as all the moments you have shared with Dan. You all know who you are who filled his life. You mattered to him. He knew he mattered to you.
