We spent most of the day at my parents house in Gridley with the whole family (💙), swimming, playing baseball, and grilling out. It was lovely! We are thankful to be close to them during this season of continued growth, healing, and finding our community here in Peoria/central IL.

Of course, there lots of things we could update you on after a year of silence, but it’s hard to put it all into words, and not really necessary. To sum it up, we are doing better than we were a two years ago, and even one year ago. Life still has it ups and downs, marriage is still hard, but by God’s grace, many prayers and support from friends and family, and marriage/personal counseling we are doing better: responding better, loving better, growing better. Please continue to pray for us when you think of us. We still need them. Daniel is sound asleep next to me, but if he decides to update you on how he’s doing/where he’s at in life you’ll see a post 🙃 Thanks for being prayer warriors for the Lord.
