Happy Thanksgiving!  Well almost....Dad is being released from the VA tonight, with some new accessories.  It is very important to have good nutrition when receiving Immunotherapy. Dad has had a hard time getting proper nutrition because of his esophagus narrowing. This tube will help and give his body a fighting chance against his cancer. He has a type of tube that will allow him to eat when he can, by mouth, so he is very much looking forward to Thanksgiving dinner.  Dad also has to have 2 shots a day, in the stomach, for blood thinning.  This will help with the blood clots that they found near his heart and prevent any others from forming. With blood thinners in play they don't want to take any chances with slips trips and falls, so he got a new set of wheels (a Walker on wheels)that he is ready to pimp out and make it his own. You know dad.....
