I had my surgery on April 13, 2021. Everything went well. The incision was a bit longer this time and they had to remove a small portion of my bladder. Fun fact, your bladder grows back. I woke up in the recovery room and had to double check that I did have a ileostomy. Not the best thing in the world, but necessary to help the colon heal.
