Newest Update

Journal entry by Jess Gendron

It’s been awhile since I have updated.. there has been a lot going on in that time and has been a little bit of a rollercoaster. The liver surgeon ultimately decided there wasn’t enough of the liver left to perform the surgery to remove the lesions and that they would move forward with chemo and re-asses at a later date. Well today dad had chemo #9 and got the news of his latest scans, the lesions are shrinking! Dads side effects are getting progressively worse with each treatment, which is to be expected so starting on the next round they will reduce his amount a little bit. Hopefully that helps.

The next scans will be after treatment #12 and then he will most likely go into maintenance mode, we don’t know exactly what that will look like but most likely will be some sort of treatment every 2 weeks.

That’s all we know for now and will
just keep taking it day by day! As always thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers!
