Good morning!

One year ago today looked a lot different. It was a day we hope to never relive again. We are so thankful to be celebrating a year post brain surgery for Dan! We couldn’t be more thankful how he is doing a year later. In his last MRI, things looked stable which the doctor shared is the goal. In addition, neither of us have noticed any big changes from radiation which is such an answered prayer!

One year ago we were having conversations we never imagined having at our age. We are both brought to our knees and so thankful what life looks like right now and are very aware of how different life could be right now. A year ago, we were trusting God that He would bring Dan through this surgery and also that he would have minimal to no side effects. However, we didn’t know God’s plan for Dan and how He was going to use this. Tonight we are going on a date to celebrate how thankful we are that life feels “normal” and that is exactly what we were praying and hoping for knowing there were many other possible outcomes.

As we think back to this time last year, we are still overwhelmed by all of you. We have never felt so loved for, prayed for, and cared for. Your support during this time is one thing we will never forget.

We are still praying for “stable” MRI’s moving forward, especially in the next 4-5 years. Thank you for continuing to join us on this journey.
