Dear Friends and Family, I'm starting up Dale's caringbridge again tonight because he is once more hospitalized at Regions. Check the journal entry to get the full story. Thank you.

Journal entry by Marilyn Hedstrand

Dear Friends and Family,
Dale moved to a new home today. It is a group home called Arthur's and is run by ACR Homes. At capacity, there are only 6 residents. There are several advantages and this home came highly recommended from a friend who is an MD and had her mother at Arthur's.

1. It is half the distance for me to go to see him.
2. Because of the small number of residents, they can individualize care to a greater extent.
3. The meals are made from "scratch." The food at Lyngblomsten has been Dale's biggest complaint.
4. The room is much nicer and has its own shower.
5. The view is a beautiful lawn with a backdrop of trees...in contrast to a parking lot and garbage bins.
6. The cost will remain the same for the entire time a resident is there.
7. Hospice goes there so the transfer is seamless.

It is located near the intersection of Victoria and Arbogast in Shoreview. The address is 3310 Emmert Street. You can visit anytime and there are no particular visiting hours.

The move went well, but as always, there are adjustments and kinks to work out. Thank you for your prayers as he adjusts and the staff gets to know him and understand his needs.
