Dale’s Story

Welcome to our Caring Bridge website for our father Dale Carlson.  We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.  As some of you know, our father has had COPD for many years now.  We have been fortunate to spend those years with him doing what he loves, camping, swimming, gardening, shooting, family get togethers, playing with all his grandkids and of course, his beloved puppy Bailey. Unfortunately, his condition has progressively gotten much worse this past year and especially these last few weeks. He has been placed in hospice care at Central Health Care in Le Center, MN.  Even though his body doesn't cooperate with him, his mind is fully intact and visits from family and friends are the highlight of his day. Dad is handling everything with so much grace. He doesn't complain and he focuses on the positive.  When you so visit, just keep in mind he is very sleepy from his medication so he fall asleep on you a few times lol. 
We would LOVE for anybody to share pictures, videos or good stories they have. Thank you all for your love and support
