Well, we hate to say it but our energizer bunny is running low. We took Dale in Friday, July 23rd with a cough and little energy. They admitted him to the hospital to fight pneumonia. This is complicated with congestive heart problems and weak kidneys which have been an issue for a few years. The pneumonia didn't respond much to the antibiotics, and with the added challenge of the failing heart and kidneys, as a family we decided it's best to let nature run its course. He even told the doctors his body is just wearing out and he can’t wait to meet his Lord and get his new perfect body to continue his journey.
He returned to his assisted living home on hospice on Thursday, July 29th. He is on a high flow of oxygen, and is quite weak. However his mind is still sharp, his faith is still deep, and he is continuing his days as he always has - humble, modest, and a servant to God.
