Journal entry by Jerri (Jetta) Richardson —
Notes from Casey Pruitt:
So I’ve gone back and forth on making this post since I don’t like putting my personal stuff out there but here we go. Yesterday was the worst/best day of my life. We welcomed our beautiful baby girl into the world at only 27 weeks due to complications with Cynthia that gave no other options . Baby is currently in the NICU but is doing ok and Cynthia is currently in the ICU. Not many people would take me for a religious person but I do have strong faith in god and I know that he was with us yesterday and put everyone in place that needed to be there. All these years in fire/ems that was the most impressive thing I’ve seen patient care wise and without their quick actions and judgement one or both of my beautiful women wouldn’t be here . To all my family and friends that showed up as quick as they did thank you . It means the world to me more than you know. God has this!
