Journal entry by Crystal Asetta

Aunt Becky arrived safely last night. It is really sinking in that I’m going home! Emma is not super happy, she’s having some separation anxiety. For a usually non-clingy kid, it’s a little unusual. She knows I wouldn’t leave her if she wasn’t in good hands. Becky will get her back to Seattle safely.

I spent the day showing Becky around the neighborhood. Then the three of us took the shuttle to a nearby shopping area. Emma lasted almost two hours this time so it was a good outing.  Becky got a massage and we all napped. She is already adjusting to the Chonburi lifestyle, lol.

I’m heading to the airport early Monday morning and somehow arriving in Phoenix around 630 pm. Flight 1 - 6 hours, #2 - 12 hours, #3 - 3 hours plus all the fun airport time and regaining the 14 hour time difference. Thank goodness I don’t have to work on Tuesday!

Emma and Becky will be staying until the 21st, finishing up a few more required doctor appointments. Then she’ll be back to the world of reliable internet and American hamburgers. 😁
