Journal entry by Shelly Krueger

Craig Alan Krueger passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on May 29, 2019.  While Craig left us too soon, our lives will be forever filled with memories of his contagious smile, boisterous laughter, and a never-ending curiosity and passion for life.  Craig enjoyed making memories at his cabin surrounded by loved ones while playing cribbage, listening to classic rock, and working in his yard.

Craig was born in 1955 and is survived by his wife, Shelly, of 36 years along with three sons: Ben, Joel, and Eric.  Eric and his wife Beth are expecting Craig’s first grandchild; while Joel and his partner Lexi have just moved into their first house together.  He is also survived by three siblings: Deb Knight and her husband Scott and daughter Julia, Doug Krueger, and Diane Krueger and her wife Elyse Bendel.  Craig is preceded in death by his parents Alan and Pauline Krueger of Albert Lea, MN where Craig was born.

Always the life of the party, Craig will be sorely missed as his family and friends commit to living on in Craig’s honor.  A celebration of life is planned for this Friday, June 7th at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum at 6pm (3675 Arboretum Dr, Chaska, MN 55318).  Attendants will be given access to the grounds of the Arboretum for the entire day, we welcome you to enjoy the beauty of this place as Craig did.  A celebration with food and refreshments will begin at 4PM, and a service will begin at 6PM.  Attendees should gather at the Visitor Center and will see signs to the designated celebration space.

Flowers may be sent to the address above and will be curated by the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum until the day of Craig's celebration.  As always, thank you for your love and support.
