Journal entry by Robin Meysenburg

Tomorrow will be 2 months and 1 week since Coy's accident. 63 days ago we didn't know what was going to happen.  63 days have passed and he has come so far.

We have been home for 33 of those 63 days. Coy's days are filled with OT and PT 3 days a week. They have been working on his strength and balance, as well as OT working on his right hand.
Today we had his 2 month check up with Dr. Webb (spine surgeon).  His x-ray looked good and he was happy to be able to talk to Coy! Last time he saw Coy he was still pretty sedated.
So we can now start therapy on his neck!

He was even more excited to get rid of his chest plate and neck collar!!! He will still have to wear a soft neck collar for a while and ween himself out of it.

Finally was able to get a haircut tonight!! He looks like a new kid! No more bozo the clown hair flipping over his hat!!

Hoping everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving! We are thankful for so much more this year.

Our love,
Coy,
Bryan, Robin,
Sierra, Zane, Heston
