Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I'm happy to update on more health progress with a grateful heart, Christmas celebration, and snow fun with neighbors.
I have been continuing to heal daily with less pain and more energy! Praise the Lord for answering our prayers! He hears our prayers. I'm incredibly thankful to have so many faithful people praying for me and my family. I can walk and work with my kids all day with rests. I'm able to make meals and do projects but I don't have my concentration back yet. I'm not sure I ever had much to begin with! I believe my ovaries are not functioning much anymore so I'm having hot flashes. This might have something to do with my concentration as well. The Lord will provide.
My red and white blood cells are still low and I'm continuing to be cautious and avoiding crowds. We have kept our Christmas celebrations to immediate family. My mom, sister and I got together with our families for Christmas eve on Whitney's farm. We had a picture of us in our Jesus shirts. I hadn't been out to her house in months prior to the burn day on the last update. We plan to get together with my husband's side in a few days.
We had snow on the ground beginning on Christmas evening and it stuck for a few days! We still have a large snowman in our front walkway that Nick and Joseph built. We have a hill just across the street that the neighborhood enjoys sliding together. We shared our sled and gave out all our water bottles to thirsty kids. We all laughed and smiled the whole time on the snow covered hill. Many snowballs, forts, and snow creatures were made. The snow was a delight one and all.
God is so good to give us what we need. I have been so very blessed by loving encouragement from family and friends sending cheerful cards and surprises. I'm so very grateful for these love offerings. I can't repay all the love I've recieved. I lift my hands in praise to the Lord!
My boy's are back in my loving care and that has been my main prayer to the Lord. He has restored my body and loving arms ability to care for my children! Hallelujah!
Remember dear friends and family in the words of Paul... "pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints." Ephesians 6:18
