Yesterday was my first follow up appointments with my radiation oncologist in Indianapolis and it went really well! We got to look at the MRI we did last week and it showed good healing in the area the one tumor was removed and the other two tumors that were irradiated have shrunk significantly! That is an answered prayer for sure!
This is great news, but my oncologist still wants to keep going with more treatments to prevent a recurrence or spread. I am still getting infusions of the immunotherapy, and she is starting me on a pretty aggressive new oral chemo starting next week. Hopefully I won't need to do that for long, but I just need to have faith and trust my doctors.
