Coty’s Story

Site created on October 17, 2020

On Tuesday, October 14th, 2020, Coty was admitted to the hospital, thinking he might have COVID. His test came back negative, and as some blood work was done, they quickly learned that he may have leukemia. After two bone marrow biopsies, the doctors confirmed Coty's diagnosis as Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) on October 16th, 2020 and he started induction Chemo on the same day.

We appreciate your prayers and words of encouragement. This is a huge shock to us all.

If you would like to send Coty a card or note of encouragement, please visit the "ways to help" section.

We will continue to update this page throughout Coty's journey, to keep family and friends updated in one place.
