Dad had his colostomy reversed yesterday. The surgery went as expected, even though it was lengthy (4 1/2 hours). Dad ended up spending 7 hours in PACU because there was no room available for him. Mom said that Dad looked really good when she finally got to see him and his pain was controlled very well. He has been looking forward to this so much! We are hopeful it will be successful.
