Connie’s Story

Site created on March 20, 2018

Welcome to Connie's CaringBridge website. She had an MRSA staph infection in her bloodstream (septicemia), her spinal fluid, her heart (endocarditis) and her lungs (pneumonia).

From the infection, she will have ongoing kidney damage, and she's still on oxygen and fairly weak, so she's not out of the woods.  But she is slowly-but-surely recuperating and beginning to recover.

We are using this site to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Another email from Aunt Judi (my mom's sister):

"Con just called - the dialysis nurse called her and said she NO LONGER needs dialysis.  Now if all the services she's supposed to get will  start  - that would be good!  So far she received a missed call (phone charging) on Sun from the home health service - NO ONE ELSE.  She needs to have the services started, groceries bought, medication prescription and filled.  Prayers for Con to be off oxygen and dialysis have been answered - THANK YOU to everyone who kept the faith during the past 3 months.  Love from - Judi"
