Connie’s Story

Site created on June 8, 2019

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

In April, Connie had not been feeling well and after several tests and a weekend in the hospital, the doctors thought she had some kind of virus.  Unfortunately, the results came back with a finding that she has ALL or Acute lymphoblastic leukemia.  It is a type of blood cancer that is uncommon in adults.

We know God is in control but value your prayers and support.  Thank you so much!  Ron, Connie, Sarah and Adam

Journal entry by Sue Jones

Good Evening,
It's been 52 days that Connie has been in Virginia Mason.  We are grateful that she is much better.
She is off oxygen and her kidneys seem to be kicking in.  She has been off dialysis for 4 days.  Her large and deep wound on her backside is slowly healing.  Healing of that wound is the greatest need for prayer because that is keeping her from being able to get her full chemo protocol to fight the cancer.  We are so thankful that the chemo pill she is getting each night is amazingly holding off the Leukemia.

We know that it is because of all the people praying for her that she is doing better and the cancer isn't worse at this time.

Thank you so much for your love, support and prayers.
Ron and family
