It’s been a few days since the nephrostomy placement and I sure hope it gets better over time.. cause right now, it sucks.  I’m in pain especially at tube insertion sites.  The bags are not small and a romper/jumpsuit is now one of my only clothing options.  My ostomy bag is still a challenge and I now I added this.  Waiting for pain to subside as still not getting much sleep (not getting up every hour to pee but can’t sleep because hurts or can’t find a comfortable position).  I still have an appetite and I’ve been maintaining my weight at least.  My hair is also getting really thin so we’ll see what happens with that; didn’t think that was a side effect of recent radiation but will check with doctors,  Have pain management appt with Penn early this week discuss post-op and then longer term plan.
