Hey everyone! Long time, no updates — which is a very good sign. :) Since my mom has had plenty of people inquiring about her health and surgery status, I figured I’d send out one more post on Caring Bridge.
Colleen is scheduled to have her reconstruction surgery tomorrow (Thursday, November 15). We have been told that the recovery is MUCH smoother than that of her initial mastectomy, so we are feeling optimistic. She is ready to end this journey once and for all! We thank you for all of your continued thoughts and prayers throughout the past 9 months or so. My mom feels all of the love that has been shared and knows how blessed she is to have all of you in her life.
