Cole’s Story

Site created on December 31, 2021

Cole is currently in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Minneapolis Children's hospital. He was diagnosed with a Diffuse Axonal Brain injury, which is consistent with what they would expect to see with a high rate of speed.  The doctors have described it as a very serious brain injury, a major bleed close to the center of his brain with small scattered bleeds toward the front of his brain. They will continue to monitor him closely and we are told we may have a long road ahead of us. The outcome and extent of recovery is unknown, only time will tell. Please pray that we can accept God's will and pray for strength for Cole and our family.

Journal entry by Josce Stewart

🎉Cole was discharged today🎉

Such a thankful feeling to come home. His siblings were all so glad to see him. They are all taking good care of him. It took him a moment to get in tune to where he was. But he is adjusting well.

Please remember us in prayer as we continue on. We have many days of appointments and adjusting in our future. Day by Day…

Thank you all so much for your prayers and caretaking. I do believe without them we wouldn’t be where we are today or even have the strength we needed to get us thru our tougher days.

Much Love,

Tyson and Josce with ours.
