Today is 3 months from the 1st surgery. I was given a timeline from his Dr at metro, if Clint wasn't tracking with his eyes or giving any purposeful movements by this time then I was to call hospice and give him end of life care. I have been preparing myself for that situation for the last two months.
I am so incredibly grateful to say that I won't be calling them because he regained enough consciousness to track with his eyes and give purposeful movements all within the last week and a half.
Clint can squeeze your hand on command, give thumbs up and thumbs down, respond to yes and no questions with blinking, wave his hand and a little smile.
He is not out of the woods, he is currently fighting pneumonia and will do so as long as he has the trach. He comes and goes out of this minimally conscious state. This will be a long hard road for his recovery and I appreciate your continued prayers and support. We love you all!
