Dad is getting stronger every day. We are now at 2 weeks after surgery. I was with dad & mom today and had a great visit. The home health nurse came while I was there and also commented on how well he was doing. We discussed his meds and recent blood work, but all looks good for what he’s just been through and he will have more blood work done Thursday.
He sang me a song and we took a little walk to the parking lot and went for a short drive around Bevis! I got to hear stories (old and new) about houses, old times, old roads, etc. Precious moments for me.
I had to tell Otto to sit and watch him (Pappy sit) while I got the car to make sure he didn’t do too much. We know our Pappy!
