Soon, our long endurance through the Lenten season will be over. 

Tonight we sit vigil waiting for the Ressurection, and so we also sit with Dad as he battles a fever in hopes that it breaks soon and he can get rest and wake to a glorious, bright sunrise for Easter Sunday! God is great, and has brought us so far, we have faith that he has more for Clarence to do here. We are so grateful for all our family and friends who we know are praying for him. Keep it up! Peace to you as we wait (patiently?? God seems to also be teaching Mom and me patience! I do not remember asking for that.) for the doctor's orders. We ask for wisdom for the staff here at Richland Place and the on-call doctor to quickly identify the source of Dad's distress. We ask for rest for all of us and healing! May it be quick and complete!!

For Vandy fans, you can rest assured that while Dad is a little delirious and confused tonight, when he heard the baseball score on TV he perked up. "Vandy won?" "Yes, Dad they beat LSU." "Good!"
