I know it has been some time since I last posted but things have been a little busy. Jack was born July 3rd at 11:12am. He needed some extra help with his lungs and they had to give him some meds to help them open up some more. He spent some time with a cpap and then came off that a couple days lasted. I was sent home 4 days after giving birth to him (43 days total for me in the hospital) but have been at the hospital every day since then. He has become a pro at eating and has been gaining weight each day now. Yesterday day we were told that he would be going home on the 14th and to go ahead and bring the car seat in for his car seat test. We are so happy and can’t wait to have him home. It has been a journey to get here. We are overwhelmed but all the love and support that everyone has given us.
Many have asked when he will be home and when people can come meet him but we are not ready for visitors because we need to bond as a family and also due to the pandemic it is not safe for people to come into our home. Please know that we love you all but he is so little and we all need to be safe.
