Journal entry by CJ Yarborough —
Hello everyone! CJ Here... Sorry this is so late!
Its remarkable that you all have continued to stay updated throughout this long journey and I sincerely thank you for your love and care for my wellbeing. It is a miracle that I am sitting here typing this journal to you all but it was achieved through all of your thoughts and prayers, and by His grace alone am I able to do so. I cannot THANK y'all enough for everything and could never hope to begin to repay everyone.... My family are true warriors for carrying me through this when I was at my lowest. My friends are an incredible support, especially my best friend and roommate Aaron Goff who rallied the city of Columbia, and MORE, to my side. You all are so special and I wish to you Love, Peace, and Grace and hope you all are doing excellent.
My healing was record breaking and swift for a Traumatic Brain Injury. Once again thanks to your armada of prayers and the work of our Lord. Cognitively and memory retention my brain is fine. Emotionally my moods have become more monotone, and of course I'm still easily frustrated. My left ear has minor hearing loss. It was learned I have an extra vertebrae and it just so happens that vertebrae has something up... I have some kind of potential nerve issue (maybe pinched or herniated disk.. but truly I havn't got an answer from any of the doctors on this particular issue) and a nerve test this thursday to try to FINALLY give me an answer. I have a on street driving test Monday so wish me Godspeed, but Im confident I can drive better than everyone in Atlanta combined. Its a warzone out here.
I know you all are probably expecting a exponential announcement from me finally but... truth be told..I dont really know the words to say, the thanks to give, the news to give... Ill be back home soon. I've come far but still have some mountain to climb. Thank you all again. Happy Holidays. And I Love you all.
