Journal entry by Cindy Clough —
A year ago I started my first treatment. I had Keyturda last Thursday and my oncologist and I decided it will be my last. I have developed an autoimmune disease in my mouth (Lichen Planus) and also have some ulcers in my mouth...so we decided enough. I originally thought I had to go until November and last week found out I only had one more....so completed all but one so that is pretty good. I am thrilled to say I am DONE with infusions. Yay! Now I will try to get my mouth to heal up and hope it is not chronic.
I am going to be starting physical therapy for my arm/shoulder which is often needed after radiation. Nothing too bad at all.
I will have tests in November.
Hopefully, I won't be posting for a long time.
Thanks for your support on this journey!!!
Have a great end to your summer.
Still Kickin',
Cindy
