Mom has completed almost her first full week at Rehab. It is going well and she is competing exercises that her PT considers advanced.
She was reassigned to the lead spinal physician of the rehab hospital — which means she is definitely getting the best care possible at MidAmerica.
She did have a small/controlled fall earlier in the week. Caused by wearing tennis shoes that positioned her feet at an awkward angle. She is fine and unharmed from this.
It was also determined that she would definitely be staying at least 3 weeks, and if she needs longer in recovery we will cross that bridge when we get to it! But she is in great hands. Her nurses, doctor, physical therapist, and occupational therapist are taking great care of her!
