As some of you may know and some that may not, Cindy was diagnosed with a kidney tumor last Friday, May 18th, 2018, as well as a spot on her lung. My dad and I appreciate all the support and words of encouragement over the past week. 


Cindy is currently hospitalized as she also has had fluid build up on one of her lungs where they drained about 8 ounces of fluid on Monday which the fluid was found to be non-cancerous which is great news! She does have an 11cm mass on her kidney and a 1/2 inch spot on her lung. They are certain the mass on her kidney is cancer and she will need to have her kidney removed. We are waiting to hear on when that surgery will occur. 


The spot on her lung will need to have a biopsy as well, but they were needing to know about the fluid prior to performing her kidney surgery or completing the lung biopsy. 


We are keeping positive thoughts and appreciate all the thoughts and prayers from everyone.

As we laid mom at her final resting place today, I wanted to do one last final post to take a moment and say a HUGE thank you from myself and on behalf of my family for all the support you have shown us.

All the phone calls, texts, emails, cards, plants, flowers and just shoulders to lean on, meant so much. Our family would've never made it through the past 4 months without all of you.

It's been so wonderful to hear all the wonderful stories and memories everyone has of my mom. We know our lives will be dramatically different without mom here but she lives in all of us. We're truly honored by all the lives she's touched and all that came to the visitation and Funeral. We wish we could've spent more time with everyone.

Please continue to share stories on her obituary site as it will be up for a couple months for the book we will pass onto Tyler.
